Planting for the future

PLANTING FOR THE FUTURE!

Earlier this year Barwick in Bloom were successful in applying for an Arium Horticultural Grant of £800 and a Parish Council contribution of £500 to enable them to plant a number of trees at the Sports Field. We were very appreciative of this support and are now busy, with the help of some of the schoolchildren last week, planting  the trees. These have been selected to give interest and colour throughout the seasons and at the same time enhance the environment of the village for future generations.
